Public Input Wanted for Proposed Bus Shelter Designs

Tiger Transit busIn addition to the new bus routes for Columbia Transit, PedNet and CoMET have partnered with MU Architectural students, Columbia Transit, the city’s Office of Sustainability and the Office of Cultural Affairs, to create 7 bus shelter designs.

The students were asked to create shelters that included sustainable materials, were powered by solar panels, and had public art. More information on the proposed shelters and a survey to gain public input are online.

The public is invited to view and vote on the design at:
