PedNet Awarded Missouri Foundation for Health General Support for Advocacy Grant

In October of 2014, we were awarded the General Support for Advocacy (GSA) grant from the Missouri Foundation for Health (MFH) for $150,000 over a two year period.


Advocacy Win: Congress Sets National Goal to Reduce Bike/Ped Fatalities

In December 2014, Congress set a goal to reduce the number of bicycle and pedestrian fatalities. This goal was accomplished in part, due to lobbying at the 2014 National Bike Summit, which our staff attended.


Advocacy Win: Missouri Bike Insurance Bill Withdrawn

A bill introduced by Rep. Craig Redmon that would require all bicyclists to carry liability insurance was defeated.
